Rally against new contracts in Birmingham Saturday 12 January

UCATT along with the other trade unions representing workers for Birmingham City Council will hold a rally against the imposition of new contracts on Saturday.

Letters were sent to 40,500 employees in early November informing workers of their new terms and conditions. Despite several requests UCATT and the other unions were not consulted at any time. It is hoped that the rally will demonstrate to the council the strength of feeling over the enforced changes and the council’s decisions not to have a dialogue with staff representatives.

Join UCATT in saying no to single status and no to new contracts.

The rally will take place on Saturday 12th January between 12– 1.30 at Victoria square.
