UCATT launches InSite. The Newsletter for all Private Sector Activists.

As part of UCATT’s continued commitment to improve the service we provide for our members, and modernise the union, we have just launched the first of our regular private sector bulletins, InSite. InSite will be a useful tool for our activists, containing news on UCATT campaigns, information on negotiations and the key issues affecting private sector construction workers. The newsletter has been sent to all of our private sector shop stewards, to branches and to regions.

We hope that this new method of communication with our members will ensure they are always aware of the latest developments in the industry and will help to ensure that the union continues to develop. This way we can ensure UCATT is efficient in achieving it’s fundamental goal, ensuring our members are safe and secure at work and not exploited by their employers.

As part of our commitment to greater communication with our membership, InSite is one of three regular publications that will be produced. Within the coming weeks, shop stewards and safety reps will see Hard Hat, our Health and Safety bulletin. February will also see the return of Craftwork, the bulletin for activists working in the public sector.

We hope you agree that these publications represent an important step in creating a stronger, more united and efficient union.
